about Stanley
Stanley is a native New Yorker, living in Manhattan as well as Southampton for part of the year. As a son to a photographer he had an early appreciation for the arts and helped out in his father's studio. The influence of the city has always featured largely in his pictures.
Stanley has created hundreds of works of art over the years, mostly oil on canvas, but has also explored working with different materials, such as acrylic on board and paint on copper, and has undertaken some sculptures as well.
Over the years Stanley has become best known for his cityscapes of New York including various bridges and elevated subways. He has exhibited in Soho and is referenced by several art critics.
Now later in his career Stanley has taken up more abstract paintings which has sparked the interest of many connoisseurs, not only for the creativity and originality but also the vibrant colors used in his works.
